Audrey’s Bio:

Thanks for visiting. My name is Audrey, but close friends call me Mischa (or Meesh). I was raised in Sunny and fabulous Southern California and have traveled internationally always to return home to one of the most beautiful cities in the world Carlsbad, California.

Growing up close to the beach has sparked an interest for me in marine life as well as a divine passion for the Ocean. I’ve been creating, cutting, and coloring hair since 2004. I was inspired to get into the field of Cosmetology because of my passion for making people look and feel great about themselves while in turn finding it to be an amazing outlet for my artistic creativity.

A hi-light in my career was the opportunity to venture internationally as a hairdresser for a year in Sydney, Melbourne, and the Gold Coast of Australia. This experience has taught me to learn about international cutting edge trends.

I also worked for a major Hollywood release film, “To Save a Life”, as a hair and makeup artist for mainstream actor Randy Wayne. This experience has opened up a very exciting avenue as a stylist and has given me the opportunity to work in multiple diverse and exciting settings. I strongly believe in giving back to the community and am more than happy to volunteer my time and services to non- profit organizations.

I have extended cutting, coloring, and styling education with L’Oreal, Paul Mitchell, Redken as well as receiving my certification with Hot Heads Extensions, Klix Extensions, Featherlocks, and Brazilian Blowout.

Being personally mentored by San Diego’s most renowned stylist Tara Hooper (Mrs. Southern California) is one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. The knowledge I have gained working side by side with Tara has given me the skills and knowledge to take my career to the next level. She taught me the importance of creating exactly what people desire by listening to their wants and needs which is what I believe sets us apart from every other stylist.

I strongly believe in continuing education and keeping up with trends and new ideas, but most importantly I LISTEN and I love doing hair!
